CHICAGO — Police are searching for answers on Wednesday morning after a teen boy was critically injured in a shooting inside a home on the city’s Far South Side.

According to police, officers were first called to the scene in the 300 block of West 106th Street, in Roseland, just after 10:30 p.m. Tuesday, following a report of a person shot in the area.

Officers arrived and found a 14-year-old boy inside the home who had suffered a gunshot wound to his head.

The teen was taken to the hospital, where he was listed in critical condition.

Currently, it is unclear what led to the gunfire and authorities say no arrests have been made.
