St. George Police ask for help identifying suspect from early morning assault
ST GEORGE, Utah (ABC4) — The St. George Police Department is asking for the public’s help in investigating an assault that occurred early on September 3rd.

According to the St. George Police Department, an adult female was on the Halfway Wash Trail near 1300 West and 1130 North around 4:10 a.m. Wednesday, when she was physically assaulted. She sustained injuries and is receiving medical treatment.

Law enforcement says the suspect is unidentified at this time, and they do not have a description of the perpetrator at this time. They are actively reviewing surveillance footage from the area and are working to identify the suspect.

Additionally, they are asking anyone who may have information about this case to come forward, including anyone who was in the area during the early morning hours. The St. George Police Department is also increasing its presence around the area where the assault occurred.
