Six suspects arrested in Springfield drug trafficking operation
SPRINGFIELD, Mass. (WWLP) – Six suspects were arrested after a search warrant was executed on a home on Lowell Street in Springfield, resulting in the seizure of cocaine, fentanyl, and an illegal firearm.

In a news release from the Springfield Police Department, detectives have been investigating a suspect identified as 46-year-old William Semidey

for distributing drugs from his home on Lowell Street.

A search warrant was executed on Monday at around 6:05 a.m. Upon entry, detectives detained five adults and a 16-year-old boy. Two small children were also inside at the time.

Detectives seized approximately 258 grams of cocaine, 387 bags of fentanyl, a loaded firearm, ammunition, and $8,512.

  • Possession of a Firearm during the Commission of a Felony
  • Improper Storage of a Firearm
  • Possession of Ammunition without an FID Card
  • Reckless Endangerment of a Child (Two Counts)
  • Possession of a Firearm with Three Prior Violent/Drug Crimes

Jennifer Plumey (40) of Springfield is charged with:

  • Cocaine Trafficking 200+ Grams
  • Possession with the Intent to Distribute a Class A Drug
  • Conspiracy to Violate Drug Law
  • Possession of a Firearm during the Commission of a Felony
  • Improper Storage of a Firearm
  • Reckless Endangerment of a Child (Two Counts)

Jordan Montalvo (20) of Springfield is charged with:

  • Cocaine Trafficking 200+ Grams
  • Possession with the Intent to Distribute a Class A Drug
  • Conspiracy to Violate Drug Law
  • Carrying a Firearm without a License
  • Carrying a Loaded Firearm without a License
  • Possession of a Firearm during the Commission of a Felony
  • Improper Storage of a Firearm
  • Possession of Ammunition without an FID Card
  • Reckless Endangerment of a Child (Two Counts)

Justin Semidey (20) of West Hartford, Connecticut, is charged with:

  • Cocaine Trafficking 200+ Grams
  • Possession with the Intent to Distribute a Class A Drug
  • Conspiracy to Violate Drug Law
  • Carrying a Firearm without a License
  • Carrying a Loaded Firearm without a License
  • Possession of a Firearm during the Commission of a Felony
  • Improper Storage of a Firearm
  • Possession of Ammunition without an FID Card
  • Reckless Endangerment of a Child (Two Counts)

Oscar Carrasco (45) of Springfield is charged with:

  • Cocaine Trafficking 200+ Grams
  • Possession with the Intent to Distribute a Class A Drug
  • Conspiracy to Violate Drug Law
  • Possession of a Firearm without an FID Card
  • Possession of a Firearm during the Commission of a Felony
  • Improper Storage of a Firearm
  • Possession of Ammunition without an FID Card
  • Reckless Endangerment of a Child (Two Counts)

The 16-year-old’s name, charges and mugshot are not being released due to his age.
