WEST BRADFORD TOWNSHIP, Pa. (WPHL) — A teenager was killed in a crash on State Route 322 involving two vehicles and a deer Tuesday morning in West Bradford Township, Pa.

Pennsylvania State Police are searching for the vehicle that was traveling eastbound on Route 322 that they believe was the initial vehicle making contact with the deer. Troopers said the impact with the animal was so hard that it flew through the air and landed on the other side of the highway smashing the windshield of a vehicle traveling westbound.

The victim was a passenger of the second vehicle, according to investigators. They said he was taken to the hospital where he was pronounced dead. The victim has been identified as a student at Malvern Preperatory School in Malvern, Pa. as reported on Action News at 10 on PHL17.

Police are searching for the first vehicle. They said it fled the scene after the crash. They believe it to be a black Toyota Sienna that would have heavy front-end damage. Anyone with information is asked to contact PSP Embreeville at 610-486-6280.
