The festival’s website shared that it is the second largest cultural festival in Utah and the largest Greek Festival West of the Mississippi.
The fair will be at the Holy Trinity Cathedral in Salt Lake City on Sept. 5 and 6 from 11:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m., and Sept. 7 from noon to 8:00 p.m. Admission is free for children 5 and under, seniors 65 and older, veterans/military with ID or uniform, first responders, and students with ID. Otherwise, the entry fee is $5.
In a welcome letter, Lead Priest Proistamenos Fr. George Nikas shared what visitors can expect at the event.
“We are confident that you will experience both sentiments while you enjoy our fabulously delicious food and desserts, dance to our upbeat music with our exciting Greek Youth Dancers and discover more about our Eastern Orthodox Faith while touring our magnificent Holy Trinity Cathedral,” Nikas said.
Nikas also expressed thanks to the volunteers and sponsors of the festival.
“It is to their credit that this wonderful event attracts over 40,000 people from across the Beehive State and beyond,” Nikas said.
Tickets for the event can be purchased here, or on site.
