Two arrested in Jackson quadruple shooting over Labor Day weekend
JACKSON, Miss. (WJTV) – Two men were arrested in connection to the quadruple shooting that occurred in Jackson over Labor Day weekend.

Detective Tommie Brown, with the Jackson Police Department (JPD), said homicide detectives obtained arrest warrants for Mason Pearce, 18, and Jordan Crawford, 21, on September 2, 2025.

Both men were arrested and charged with two counts of murder and two counts of aggravated assault.

The shooting occurred in the 5600 block of Dogwood Trail around 11:00 p.m. on August 30, 2025. Brown said officers discovered Roosevelt Denson, Jr., 48, deceased at the scene. He suffered at least one gunshot wound.

The three other victims were transported to local hospitals for treatment. Brown said one of the three injured victims, Zacchaeus Daniel Johnson, 26, died around 4:30 a.m. on August 31, 2025.
