Tuesday Temperatures: We likely won’t see much change in temperatures on Tuesday.  Lows Tuesday morning will likely end up in the upper 60s to lower 70s.  Daytime highs on Tuesday afternoon will warm into the upper 80s to lower 90s.  Both are a few degrees below normal for this time of year.

Futurecast outlook for the next 36 hours

Rain to be limited: Futurecast shows that most of the area will likely stay dry.  We will likely see a partly to mostly cloudy sky on Monday night with a very slight chance for a few showers.  Expect a mix of sunshine and clouds on Tuesday with another slight chance for the random, mainly afternoon shower or thunderstorm. This scene will probably repeat itself on Tuesday night and Wednesday.

10-day forecast for shreveport

Long-range outlook: Late last week, it appeared that we could be looking at a decent taste of fall temperatures late this week.  It appears that it has been pushed back a few days.  We will likely see a warming trend this week with highs returning to the middle 90s.  Overnight lows will warm into the low to middle 70s.  A front will bring our next best chance of showers and thunderstorms this weekend.  Highs this weekend and early next week will fall into the mid to upper 80s.  Overnight lows will plummet into the low to middle 60s. So it appears that we will still get that taste of fall, just not as quickly and not as potent as it appeared last week.  Stay tuned!
