In Aiken, a ticket was sold that won $50,000 from the Sept. 1 drawing, with the numbers being 8, 23, 25, 40, 53 with the Powerball 5.
“Check your tickets if you played Powerball® with DoublePlay® at the Circle K Stores #5351 on E. Pine Log Rd,” the South Carolina Education Lottery said in a statement on Tuesday.
In Georgia, a $50,000 ticket matching four numbers and the Powerball from the Aug. 30 drawing was purchased in Grovetown at the Food Mart on 5100 Wrightsboro Road. Another $50,000 ticket from the same drawing was purchased in Evans at The Pumping Station on 5142 Washington Road.
The winning numbers for that drawing were 3, 18, 22, 27, 33 with a Powerball of 17.
The next Powerball drawing is set for Wednesday, Sept. 3, with an estimated jackpot of $1.3 billion.
