On September 1, around 2:30 p.m., officers were called to Andrews Street and Irving Avenue for reports of a fight. The caller told authorities she saw two men emerge from an alley and attack the teen.
The victim told officials he was punched and told to empty his pockets by Lee.
Lee stole the teen’s iPhone, hat and cash, according to court records.
The suspect was taken into custody in the 400 block of Oakley Avenue and admitted to punching the victim. He also told police he was helping the other person who was with him during the incident get “payback.”
Lee is charged with aggravated battery in a public place, robbery and mob action.
