Sunday night gunfire at Sears Park leaves victim in serious condition
ABILENE, Texas (KTAB/KRBC) – Police say two men were injured in a shooting Sunday night at Arthur Sears Park in north Abilene.
Officers responded to a discharge of a weapon call around 8:30 p.m. Aug. 31 at 2250 Ambler Ave., according to the Abilene Police Department.
A 17-year-old male and a 21-year-old male were found with gunshot wounds and transported to a hospital. Police said at least one victim was listed in serious condition.
No arrests had been made as of Sunday, and police said both victims were uncooperative. The investigation remains ongoing.
