The Kentucky Lottery said three large winning Powerball tickets were sold in Kentucky over the holiday weekend.
A $50,000 winning ticket was sold on Saturday at EG America in Lexington. On Monday, a million-dollar ticket was sold online, and a $50,000 ticket was sold at a Kroger in Louisville.
“Our players love these high jackpots, and with higher-than-normal Powerball sales right now, they are really engaging with this game,” Harville said. “We already had a Kentucky retailer sell a winning $167.3 million jackpot ticket this year, so let’s have another big win with this $1.3 billion jackpot.”
The Powerball jackpot is still running at an estimated $1.3 billion, the fifth-largest jackpot in the history of the game. The next drawing is at 11 p.m. on Wednesday with an estimated cash value of $589 million.
