Nominate for Shreve Library’s Adger public service award

SHREVEPORT, La. (KTAL/KMSS) – Shreve Memorial Library is accepting nominations for the 2025 Adger Public Service Award through Monday, September 22, 2025. The award honors a library employee who has provided exceptional public service to senior citizens.

Any full-time or part-time employee with at least nine months of public service at Shreve Memorial Library is eligible. Nominees must work a minimum of eight hours per week in direct public service.

The award was established by the estate of Blanche and Moultrie Adger, longtime patrons of the Broadmoor Branch, to recognize outstanding service provided to senior citizens.

Nominations may be submitted by patrons, library board members, or other library employees. Forms are available online at www.shreve-lib.org or at any branch.

The Review Committee will select the recipient at the Broadmoor Branch, 1212 Captain Shreve Drive.
