Janesville sex offender charged with exposing genitals to a child

JANESVILLE, Wis. (WTVO) — Janesville Police arrested Tyler Minarick, 36, for allegedly exposing genitals to a child, among other charges.

Officers received reports that the suspect was communicating with a child in Ohio in April.

After a 4-month investigation, authorities found child porn on Minarick’s cell phone, according to a news release.

Officials took the suspect into custody in the 3600 block of Milton Avenue. He is being held at the Rock County Jail until his first court appearance.

Minarick is charged with five counts of possession of child pornography, two counts of causing a child to view or listen to sexual activity, two counts of exposing genitals to a child, sexual exploitation of a child and two counts of sex offender photographing a minor.
