Fire ignites along Hwy 168 near Fresno County community
AUBERRY, Calif. (KSEE/KGPE) – A fuel tanker ignited a wildfire along Highway 168 Monday afternoon, Cal Fire says.
The Fuel Fire started around 5:30 p.m. at the bottom of the four-lane on Highway 168 and Lodge Road.
The fire grew to 3 acres before crews were able to extinguish it about an hour later.
Highway 168 is closed from the top of the four-lane to the bottom of the four-lane at Lodge Road and SJ&E Road while crews clean up the fuel spill.
