Fire breaks out at 5-story Nob Hill apartment building: SFFD

(KRON) — A fire broke out at a Nob Hill apartment on Tuesday morning, the San Francisco Fire Department said on social media. SFFD received a 911 call around 11:39 a.m. about a one-alarm fire at a five-story building at 1191 Pine St.

The fire was extinguished and kept to the unit of origin, according to SFFD. No injuries were reported, and SFFD did not mention if anyone was displaced from the fire.

Leavenworth Street between Bush Street and Pine Street was closed for an hour, officials said.

SFFD did not state what caused the fire. The fire department posted about the incident on X at 12:38 p.m. on Tuesday.
