Final numbers are in: Minnesota State Fair attendance slightly up in 2025

It appears the beautiful weather and beloved traditions outweighed the rising costs at the Great Minnesota Get-Together.

The final attendance numbers were announced on Tuesday, and overall, attendance was up this year from last year’s event, when nearly 1.926 million people attended.

In total, 1,940,869 people went through the gates during the 12-day event this year. The yearly record is 2,126,551, set in 2019.

On the final day, 150,442 people attended the fair, about 25,000 fewer than the 175,442 who attended on Labor Day last year. The attendance record for the final day of the fair was set in 2019 with 184,740 fairgoers.
