Davis County Bomb Squad investigated suspicious package at Lorin Farr Park, park reopened
OGDEN, Utah (ABC4) — Lorin Farr Park has been reopened after a temporary closure, as the Ogden Police and the Davis County Bomb Squad investigated a suspicious package.
The Davis County Sheriff’s Office Bomb Squad completed their investigation of the suspicious package, and they found that it was not an explosive device. What exactly was in the package has not been identified to the public at this time.

Police temporarily closed Lorin Farr Park “out of an abundance of caution,” according to a social media post from Ogden Police. They also briefly requested the public to avoid the area.
As of 3:40 p.m., the park and surrounding areas have been reopened, and regular activities have resumed. There is no threat to the public.
