Theres no place like hope: Benefit concert for 3-month-old car accident victim
WASHINGTON TERRACE, Utah (ABC4) — Beverly’s Terrace Plaza Playhouse is inviting the community to a special The Wizard of Oz performance to support 3-month-old Everett Benedict after a severe car accident.
On Aug. 5, the Benedict family was in a devastating car accident that left baby Everett with a traumatic brain injury. He has been in the PICU since. Everett’s parents, Jayson and Madi, are also recovering from the accident.
Despite the trauma his tiny body is experiencing, Everett is now breathing on his own and is responding to Madi’s voice, but recovery is still ongoing.

Beverly’s Terrace Plaza Playhouse’s director of marketing, Bryant Larsen, responded to the upcoming event, saying, “Just like the lion in The Wizard of Oz, Everett is showing incredible courage. This benefit night is about more than theatre, it’s about surrounding the Benedicts with the love and strength of our community.”
The special performance of The Wizard of Oz will be held this Saturday, Sept. 6, at 7:30 p.m. at The Playhouse, located at 99 East 4700 South Washington Terrace, UT.
All ticket proceeds and concession sales will be donated to the Benedict family to support their recovery.
The venue released a statement of support: “The Playhouse invites audiences to ‘fill every seat’ and stand as a community to remind the Benedict family they are not alone on this journey.”
