One dead, two injured in Pike County, Ohio crash

PIKETON, Ohio (WOWK) — A woman has died after a crash in Pike County, Ohio.

The Ohio State Highway Patrol says that just after 1 p.m. Sunday, troopers responded to a two-vehicle crash on State Route 32 at US 23.

A vehicle traveling southbound on US 23, exiting to State Route 32, allegedly failed to yield at a stop sign, hitting another car, OSHP says.

The driver of that vehicle and the passenger were both flown to Grant Medical Center. Troopers say the passenger, identified as Wilma J. Taylor, 78, later passed away as a result of her injuries.
