JACKSON, Miss. (WJTV) – Jackson police are working to identify the person responsible for a fatal hit-and-run.
The incident occurred on Interstate 220 near U.S. 80 between 4:45 p.m. and 5:00 p.m. on August 24, 2025.
The crash resulted in life-threatening injuries to Leon Buggs. Police said the vehicle fled the scene.
