That time when one-half of ‘The Finish with Kor & Tor’ shut an elevator on Brock Lesnar.

SAN FRANCISCO (KRON) — On a recent episode of The Finish with Kor & Tor — KRON4+’s first wrestling tag team duo, as it were — we broke down the shocking return of Brock Lesnar at this year’s SummerSlam.

But what might be an even bigger bombshell? Kor once shut an elevator door on Brock Lesnar — and then immediately had another run-in with “The Beast Incarnate” while visiting San Antonio, Texas some years back.

Kor is here, in his own words, to tell the story he somehow survived to tell.

I wanna tell you about my encounter with Brock Lesnar. I need to get into this story. It was the Royal Rumble—was it 2017 in San Antonio? 2016? 2017? One of those years.

I was staying at the same hotel as Brock. I walked into the lobby, and there he was—Brock Lesnar, in a full suit, texting on his tiny phone. He’s so big that the phone just looked ridiculously small in his hands.

So I walk past him. My friend is freaking out, like, “Oh my God, it’s Brock.” And I’m just like, “Don’t. Be chill.” We walk by, I give him a nod—“How you doing, Brock?”—and he gives me a nod back. Cool.

I get in the elevator. I’m standing there, and Brock starts walking toward me. He’s getting closer to the elevator. He’s about to step in. And I panicked—I hit the door close button. Yeah… I technically shut the door on Brock Lesnar in 2016.

The next day we saw him in the gym. He just gave us a look. And we were like, “We’re good. We’re good.” (Followed by a nervous little wave.)

That was my good, bad, and ugly moment from 2016.

‘The Finish with Kor & Tor’ invites Brock Lesnar to the show to give his version of the incident.
