Sunday Conversation: Georgia Secretary of State Brad Raffensperger still mum on next political move
COLUMBUS, Ga. (WRBL) — Georgia Secretary of State Brad Raffensperger is the state’s equivalent of a political wildcard.

Raffensperger, who gained national attention during the 2020 presidential election when President Trump pressured him to find additional votes in Georgia, is reportedly considering a 2026 run for higher office.

During a lengthy Sunday Conversation with WRBL’s Chuck Williams, Raffensperger was noncommittal when asked if he was considering a run for governor or the U.S. Senate. The governor’s seat is vacant because Gov. Brian Kemp is term-limited. The U.S. Senate seat is held by Democratic incumbent Jon Ossoff.

Here is WRBL’s complete conversation with Raffensperger. It was recorded Aug. 20 and aired on Aug. 31.
