At around 1:26 a.m., Santa Rosa fire crews responded to 1123 Dale Ct. for a residential structure fire. The department stated that crews responded within five minutes.
Crews determined no occupants were in the home. Four engines, one ladder truck and one squad for the flames.
The fire, according to the department, was under control within 30 minutes. However, crews remained on scene for hours to extinguish hot spots and burning debris.
“Three firefighters were injured while battling the fire: one minor burn, one minor sprain, and one moderate burn due to steam and contact burns. Two firefighters were evaluated and treated at Kaiser Hospital and released,” said fire crews.
The residence was destroyed, and the damage from the flames is estimated to be $150,000. Per the fire department, a neighboring residence suffered a broken window due to radiant heat.
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
