Multiple agencies respond to fire at Woodmill Winery in Vale

VALE, N.C. (QUEEN CITY NEWS) — A popular winery in Vale is on fire, prompting the response of multiple local fire departments.

The North 321 Fire Department told Queen City News that they first received the call about a fire at Woodmill Winery between 8 and 8:15 on Sunday morning.

It’s unclear what led to the fire or if anyone was inside when the fire started. North 321 FD said they are assisting the Union Volunteer Fire Department of Vale in controlling the blaze.
