Local nonprofit hosts fashion show where art meets high fashion

CHARLOTTE (QUEEN CITY NEWS) — You may have seen the ArtPop Street gallery billboards around the Queen City, but what happens when the ad comes down? It’s time to upcycle the vinyl pieces into high fashion. That is the theme for ArtPop’s 5th annual Upcycled fashion show and fundraiser.

The group has selected 15 local designers to turn 15 billboards into clothing. The show will take place on September 6th, at Blume studios in Charlotte from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m.
