Powell County jail food service employee accused of sexual misconduct toward inmate

STANTON, Ky. (FOX 56) — An employee of a food service partner for the Powell County Detention Center (PCDC) was arrested on Saturday morning for alleged inappropriate misconduct involving an inmate.

According to an arrest citation, Samantha Catron, of Hope, was allegedly captured on security camera video having deviant intercourse with an incarcerated person.

Jail staff posted on social media Saturday that Kellwell Food Management, which Catron worked for, had been a trusted partner with the PCDC commissary since 1992.
