Pennsylvania State Police increase enforcement for Labor Day weekend
(WHTM)– Pennsylvania State Police announced it will be enhancing enforcement during Labor Day weekend.

State Police say this comes as Labor Day weekend brings increased traffic to roadways across the state. Troopers will have increased personnel on roadways as part of an effort to reduce the number of crashes and injuries.

Troopers will be focusing on drivers who are driving under the influence of alcohol and drugs or driving aggressively and speeding.

Drivers are encouraged to wear their seatbelts and have designated drivers if they plan on drinking alcohol during the holiday weekend.

Sober Ride Home is offering $20 Uber vouchers to individuals who consume alcohol throughout the weekend in Perry, Dauphin, and Cumberland counties.
