Offices closed, splash pad open, Downtown sprayground makes Labor Day exception
SHREVEPORT, La. (KTAL/KMSS) – Normally closed for maintenance at the top of the week, SPAR is keeping the downtown sprayground open for the holiday celebration.
Although City of Shreveport and SPAR offices are closed for the holidays, the department is making sure residents are able to continue to enjoy the newly uncovered sprayground over the upcoming holiday weekend.

A Facebook announcement confirms that although the splash pad is usually closed for routine upkeep, the department will shift and complete the process on Tuesday instead.
You can grab a town and join in on the fun, the sprayground is located across from Sci-Port Discovery Center.
