“With Tactiq, production workspaces are no longer restricted by task-specific hardware. By decoupling the user interface from backend systems, Tactiq abstracts complexity and brings unified control of all key production elements — including video, audio, graphics, and lighting — into one intuitive and modular interface,” said a release. “This software-defined approach gives production teams unmatched operational flexibility. Any workstation can be assigned any task, operated via touchscreen or physical controller. Each operator position becomes multifunctional, enhancing collaboration, maximizing team efficiency, and enabling more flexible workflows.”
Tactiq also supports rapid scalability, to help onboard new operators, reassign responsibilities, or adapt control room layouts to meet live production demands.
“Tactiq is more than an interface, it’s a strategic enabler,” said Dieter Backx, VP Control & Orchestration at EVS. It is the gateway to our Flexible Control Room solution, which empowers our customers to reimagine their production control rooms as dynamic, adaptable workspaces that respond to the pace and complexity of live production today and in the future.”
