According to Fresno County, the special election on Nov. 4 needs people to support in-person voting, help with basic IT support, and assist in office-based activities, with opportunities available across the county.
The job listings, which are already live, pay between $16.76 an hour for an elections worker or $18.46 an hour for an elections outreach coordinator. Fresno County says election workers will be provided paid training, a minimum of 36 hours during the election (including overtime), and will be eligible for preferred job opportunities for all elections scheduled in 2026.
Applicants who can speak Spanish, Chinese, Hmong, Khmer, Korean, Laotian, Punjabi, Tagalog, or Vietnamese are eligible for a pay increase if hired, county officials say.
Applications must be received by 4 p.m. on Sept 5 and can be submitted by clicking here.
