Former Pointe Coupee dispatcher faces malfeasance, obstruction charges
BATON ROUGE, La. (Louisiana First) — A former Pointe Coupee Parish dispatcher was arrested after being accused of misconduct.
According to the Pointe Coupee Parish Sheriff’s Office, Ashlie Leblanc was arrested Wednesday on charges including malfeasance in office, obstruction of justice, and unlawful use of a cellular tracking device.
The arrest came after an investigation into an incident that happened while she was employed by the department.
Leblanc was booked into the Pointe Coupee Parish Detention Center and has since bonded out.
