
Remnant moisture from “Juliette” streams across southern Utah late this evening and tonight bringing widespread steady rain for areas south of I-70. While we’re not expecting heavy rain, any additional rain accumulation could lead to some isolated flash flooding concerns.
Our Friday will bring drier conditions back to Utah. Isolated showers and storms will remain possible through Friday afternoon, but not to the level that you would need to cancel any outdoor plans. Due to the drier conditions and more sunshine, temperatures will begin to warm back near normal for the end of the week, and above average moving through the holiday weekend.
Currently, it looks like our Labor Day will feature mostly sunny skies and just a very slight chance for a pop-up shower. Outdoor plans are looking good with daytime highs in the 90s to low 100s.

Thursday will bring another chance for scattered showers and storms, but the coverage will be more limited to central and northern Utah. The risk for isolated areas of flash flooding will continue to be a concern, especially across northern Utah. Daytime highs will climb into the mid to upper 80s for most of the area, with daytime highs back in the low to mid 90s for SW Utah.
