ROCKFORD, Ill. (WTVO) — Rockford Police arrested Terrance Walker, 60, for allegedly attacking a pregnant woman with a knife at Alpine Inn.

Officers responded to the inn, located on East State, for reports of a battery with a knife on August 28, around 12:19 p.m. Authorities found a knife when they arrived on the scene.

The victim had visible injuries and was taken to OSF Saint Anthony Hospital for treatment.

The woman told police that Walker wrapped his arm around her head and cut her.

The suspect was taken into custody around 12:36 p.m., after officials found him near East State Street and Lynmar Court.

Walker is charged with aggravated battery to a pregnant woman, aggravated battery while using a deadly weapon and aggravated domestic battery.
