Police detain driver after south Abilene crash

ABILENE, Texas (KTAB/KRBC) – A two-vehicle crash happened in South Abilene.

Thursday afternoon, a crash occurred at the intersection of Buffalo Gap Road and Highland Avenue. At least one person was taken to the hospital as a precaution. The people in the car were not injured.

Our reporter on the scene said the Abilene Police Department placed the driver of the truck in custody. Police say intoxication may have played a role in the crash.
