No one hurt in Fauquier County school bus crash

FAUQUIER COUNTY, Va. (DC News Now) — No one was hurt during a crash involving a Fauquier County school bus and a pickup truck on Thursday, according to the Fauquier County Sheriff’s Office.

Deputies say crews responded to reports of a “minor” crash shortly after 3:30 p.m. in the intersection of Lee Highway and Broad Run Church Road.

According to deputies, the 37 students on the bus were from C. Huntner Ritchie Elementary School, and parents were allowed to pick up their children from the scene.

The road was temporarily closed, but has since been reopened.
