JENNINGS, La. (
KLFY) — A Jennings teenager is a wanted fugitive after a shooting was reported on Monday, authorities said.
Latavien Pattum, 17, of Jennings, is charged with attempted second degree murder and illegal discharge of a firearm. He is still at large.
Jennings Police responded early Monday evening to the 800 block of West Jefferson Street in reference to a fight involving multiple juveniles. One person was transported by ambulance with minor injuries sustained after being pepper-sprayed during the fight, officials said.
Investigators said Pattum allegedly produced a concealed handgun and fired shots at another male subject during the altercation. Investigators recovered multiple spent casings from the scene, authorities said.
