Interfaith prayer service to be held for Katrina anniversary in New Orleans
NEW ORLEANS (WGNO) — An interfaith prayer service will take place Thursday, Aug. 28 at the St. Louis Cathedral commemorating the 20th anniversary of Hurricane Katrina.
Interfaith leaders representing varying faith traditions will join Archbishop Gregory Aymond for the service. Various groups from a variety of Christian denominations and other religions will attend.
It begins at 6:00 p.m. All are welcome.
