
Brooklyn Park stabbing suspect arrested in LouisianaThe victim in the stabbing, which happened last week, is in critical condition.
A man suspected of seriously injuring a man in a stabbing last week in Brooklyn Park has been arrested in Louisiana.
The stabbing happened shortly after 12:10 a.m. on Aug. 20, in the 5800 block of 73rd Avenue North.
Brooklyn Park police say the victim was taken to a hospital in critical condition. Authorities haven’t provided any update on his condition.

Detectives identified the stabbing suspect as 44-year-old Lenin Zenguana Pati, who has since been charged with attempted murder. However, they believed he fled the state and issued a nationwide warrant.
Police have now announced that Pati was found and arrested on Monday in Ouachita Parish, Louisiana, with the help of the U.S. Marshals.
As of Friday morning, Pati remained in custody in Louisiana as authorities worked to extradite him back to Minnesota.
