America’s Got Talent winner Richard Goodall releases first song

TERRE HAUTE, Ind. (WTWO/WAWV) — America’s Got Talent Winner and local celebrity Richard Goodall has released his first song since winning the grand prize on last year’s show, and some are saying it’s been a “Long Time Coming.”

The Golden Buzzer winner’s first single, “Long Time Coming”, was released Friday, August 29, just a few weeks out from his return to the AGT stage for its “20th Birthday Party.”

Last year, Goodall took America’s heart after performing Journey’s “Don’t Stop Believin'”, and wowing the judges enough for Heidi Klum to give Goodall a Golden Buzzer.

A “Long Time Coming” doesn’t stray too far from the rock classics that he performed on AGT, sticking to the rock and roll roots that won him the one-million-dollar prize last year.

The song is an inspiring story that encourages all of us to hold on and continue to reach for our dreams, just like he did, because today could be the day they come true.
