Labor Day 2025 is upon us, which means two things. First, the summer is coming to an end (welcome, cooler weather). Second, Labor Day sales
If you don’t care for blurbs, you can see all of our picks right here. To learn more about each item, keep on scrolling down.
LED strip lights can really amp up the ambiance in any room. I strung these lights up in my kids’ bedrooms last year, and they love being able to adjust the color and brightness on the fly using their iPads or the included remote.
Speaking of iPads, they’re on sale in Walmart’s Labor Day sale. These things pretty much always get discounted whenever there’s a sale, and that remains the case now. Grab one if you need one. The latest generation is currently on sale here, but there are other discounts as well.
Small teddy bears can be cute and all, but they don’t really make a statement. By buying this giant teddy bear for someone, you’re making a statement. You’re saying, “Look at this massive teddy bear.” If that’s the message you want to send, grab it while it’s nearly half price.
Who doesn’t love a fun bit of competitive card gaming? This particular strand of the Uno franchise is just like the standard version, except it’s way meaner. There’s a Draw 10 card here. Skips abound in the deck. It’ll test your friendships, but you’ll have a good time doing it.
I’m the LEGO editor here at IGN, and the comment I see most often by far on our illustrious LEGO content is, “It’s too expensive!” It’s true that LEGO sets are pricy, but they’re one of the few products that are worth it, IMO. In any case, this set rules and is not too expensive, thanks to this Labor Day discount.
Play-Doh is like a portal to wild creativity for kids. It’s also non-toxic, so you don’t have to call poison control when they eat it. In my experience, our cans of Play-Doh were always being left open and dried out by the time I noticed. So it’s always good to stock up on fresh, moist Play-Doh when you have a chance. Like right now.
If we’re being honest with ourselves, I think we can all agree we could use more drawers. There’s just so much stuff everywhere. This fabric storage dresser is over half off in this sale, making it a good time to add nine more drawers to your life.
Let’s say your bed is no longer as comfortable as it once was. Where it used to be soft and springy, it now feels like sleeping on a potato sack filled with jagged rocks. Throw that old thing away and grab this queen-sized hybrid mattress that has the springiness of springs, with a layer of soft, lovely Memory Foam on top.
All of the knives in my kitchen are silver, with black handles. That’s just boring. This set of carbon steel cutlery is color-coded, making it easy to know which one you’re grabbing. It also adds a splash of color to your kitchen, which is a fun added bonus.
Everybody knows Le Creuset makes the best cast-iron Dutch ovens. But long before you reach the $300 minimum you’ll pay for one, you’ve gotta be seeing diminishing returns. This six-quart Dutch oven MSRPs at $100, but is on sale for almost half that. And you probably won’t notice the difference when you’re eating the culinary delights you whip up in it.
