Texas flags flown half-staff to mourn victims of Minneapolis shooting

AUSTIN (KXAN) — Governor Greg Abbott ordered all flags to be lowered to half-staff to mourn the victims killed after a shooting at a Catholic school in Minneapolis Wednesday.

Two children died and more than a dozen others were injured after a 23-year-old gunman fired shots through the windows during morning Mass.

“Today’s attack at a Catholic school in Minnesota is horrific and heartbreaking,” said Governor Abbott. “Cecilia and I are lifting up in prayer the families who list innocent children, those injured, and the entire community as they face this tragedy.”
