
The ranking, which was released on Tuesday, sees Purdue University listed among the most prestigious public universities that have developed a reputation for offering their students higher salaries and less debt upon graduation.
Forbes highlighted Purdue University’s six-year graduation rate of 74% for students and 70% for Pell grant recipients. The ranking also emphasized the school’s popular majors, including hardware engineering and experimental psychology, and their importance in cultivating young professionals in those developing fields.
Other additions include the University of California-Berkeley, the University of Michigan-Ann Arbor and the University of Georgia, among others.
This ranking follows Purdue University’s inclusion in Forbes’ New Ivies 2025: 20 Great Colleges Employers Love, which ranked its top 10 public and private institutions nationally.
