A family reunification site has been established at the Red Hill Shopping Center.
“While we believe this threat is not credible, out of an abundance of caution, the school administration has decided to cancel classes for the remainder of the day,” the Central Marin Police Authority wrote.
Central Marin Police Authority officers remain on campus as of 10 a.m. while officers conduct a systematic search of the campus.
Administrators said parents should not go to the school to reunite with their children. Students are being evacuated to the shopping center.
Archie Williams High School administrators wrote in a statement, “We recently received an anonymous report of a bomb threat on campus. Everyone is safe. We do not believe the threat to be credible but out of an abundance of caution, we have been advised by Central Marin PD to evacuate the campus. Students who have driven or walked to school will be allowed to leave campus. Students that require pick up, will be safely evacuated to the Red Hill Shopping Center. Do not come to the AWHS Campus. School is cancelled for the day. We will update the community as soon as possible with additional information as we learn it.”
