NATCHITOCHES, La. (KTAL/KMSS) – The Natchitoches Police Department reported the arrest of 20-year-old Quintin Chatman of Bossier City after starting a fight and sneaking into a local club, which led to more severe charges.
According to authorities, officers responded to a disturbance on the 7000 block of Highway 3110 around 12:51 a.m. on August 24, 2025.
Upon arriving, the club manager informed officers that Chatman allegedly attempted to start a fight with other clubgoers.
Officers advised Chatman to leave the premises, which he agreed to do.
Despite this, police say he was caught re-entering the club through a side entrance, and the police escorted him outside once again, warning him that if he returned, he could be arrested.
After agreeing to leave the property a second time, he was later found in the parking lot holding a firearm, which was disarmed by police.
He was then placed under arrest and a second firearm was discovered in his waistband.
He will face charges of illegal carrying of weapons, carrying firearms at an alcoholic beverage outlet, terrorizing, and remaining after warnings.
Chatman was taken into custody and is currently held at the LaSalle Corrections / Natchitoches Detention Center.
The Natchitoches Police Department expressed gratitude for the assistance from the Northwestern State University Police Department.
