Jessica Roberts, a spokeswoman for the Auburn-Washburn School District USD 437, shared a message with 27 News sent out to families of children in the district on Aug. 27. Both Pauline Central Primary School and Pauline South Intermediate are entering “Secure Campus” due to nearby activity in the area that is unrelated to the school.
“As a reminder, Secure Campus is when students remain inside the building with all activities continuing as normal. We will provide another update when Secure Campus has been lifted.”

A 27 News reporter in the area said there is a police scene in the 6700 block of Briarmeade Lane. Multiple law enforcement vehicles and personnel are in the neighborhood.
