LSU Athletics and Taymar Sales U extend partnership deal

BATON ROUGE, La. (Louisiana First) — LSU Athletics and the Tiger Athletic Foundation (TAF) have signed a multiyear extension with Taymar Sales U., continuing a partnership that has helped drive record-breaking ticket sales and fan engagement.

Since first joining forces in 2019, LSU and Taymar have achieved major milestones. Women’s basketball, football, gymnastics, and baseball have all sold out season tickets under the partnership, with gymnastics reaching a program first and football selling out both season tickets and premium seating.

“Our work with Taymar Sales U. has been a true driver of revenue growth while strengthening the relationships we have with our fans,” said Brian Broussard, LSU Associate Athletic Director for Ticket Sales and Operations.

Baseball and gymnastics group sales soared, with growth of nearly 90% and 80% respectively, while men’s basketball doubled group sales year-over-year. The collaboration has also generated multiple six-figure capital gifts and significant growth in annual pledges for TAF.

“We’re grateful to continue our partnership with LSU and the Tiger Athletic Foundation. As our second client, LSU has played a key role in our company’s journey, and over the past six years, we’ve reached incredible milestones together,” said Taymar President Joe Rickert.

The Taymar team in Baton Rouge, led by Vice President and General Manager Matthew Douglas, recently added two account executives to strengthen fan experience and service.

“Matthew Douglas has blossomed into a key leader for Taymar in Baton Rouge,” Rickert continued. “He has developed a talented staff at LSU, and many have since achieved new success with other Taymar schools. We’re excited to build on this strong foundation and continue serving Tiger fans through this growing relationship and team expansion.”

LSU originally partnered with Taymar in May 2019, joining Kentucky as one of the firm’s early SEC clients.
