On Tuesday, the city held a “Landbank-a-Rama” event in the Portland neighborhood. Inviting interested buyers and developers to visit a few of the properties currently on the market for just $1.
Louisville’s FOX affiliate, WDRB, said officials hope the effort will revitalize communities currently plagued by abandoned properties.
While the ticket price on these homes is low, they aren’t really $1. Buyers will need to show officials they are serious about investing through an application process.
More information on the project and a list of available houses can be found online.
