
According to the FOX affiliate in Louisville, WDRB, doctors gave baby Kingston Bryant just a 30% chance of survival.
As of Tuesday, he weighs 21 pounds and has defied the odds.
His parents were warned his lungs might never grow strong enough to sustain him, and there were many times when they feared they’d said their final goodbyes.
“So there’s been times I’ve gotten calls at midnight, 3 a.m., and they’re like, ‘Hey, you know, something’s going on. We’re not really sure what’s going on.’ And I immediately just pick up and go over. I mean, at least until I feel like he’s okay, or I just stay the night over there,” Kaycee Hartman.
