INDIANAPOLIS — Indiana State Police are asking for the public’s assistance in identifying a motorcyclist accused of firing multiple shots at another vehicle last week on Interstate 465.
The incident happened around 6 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 21, on I-465 northbound near the I-69 interchange. Police said the vehicle targeted in the shooting was occupied by a family, including an 11-month-old infant. No injuries were reported.
According to investigators, after the shooting the suspect exited I-465 northbound at Allisonville Road. Police released a photo of the suspect riding the motorcycle and are urging anyone who can identify the rider to come forward.
