First-ever tornado sirens installed in Talbot County

TALBOT COUNTY, Ga. (WRBL) — Officials in Talbot County finished installing their first-ever tornado sirens.

According to the Talbot County Emergency Management Agency, the county has installed 10 tornado sirens across the county. They say this process has taken a few weeks.

Talbot County EMA put out a statement Wednesday afternoon that the sirens are scheduled to be tested on Thursday at 12:00 p.m. EST.

All 10 sirens will be tested at that time, barring any issues with the system.
